Half House

Before Half House, our clients South facing Edwardian House was set high above the rear garden, hence the family of five made little use of their outdoor environment. Now they move freely through indoor and outdoor living zones, with the new double-glazed pavilion providing a bridge from interior to garden and upper to lower levels.. A range of experiential spaces invite the inhabitants to rest, relax, read, play, study, cook and entertain, providing a balance of intimacy and separation previously lacking. It is truly a Half House - half inside and half outside, half up and half down, half work space and half retreat, half black and half white.
